Claw Machines for Premieres and Fan Events
When NBC's Love Island threw its Season 8 fan event in New York City, the claw machines were not a side attraction: a cast member walked the activation with a mic and camera crew, and the machines ran packed from open to final morning. That is what this page offers: a show-branded claw machine loaded with merch fans cannot buy, run by our team from setup to load-out, built so every grab and reaction shot carries your title's branding.
Wicked · Fan EventWhat the Machine Does at a Premiere or Fan Event
The Shareable Prize Moment
Fandom runs on moments fans can post, and a claw machine manufactures them on a loop: the grab, the drop, the win, the reaction, all in front of a back panel carrying your key art. Every fan photo is a branded frame.
The Merch Mechanic
Load the machine with prizes that cannot be bought, only won, and the machine becomes the event's story: guaranteed-win play means every fan leaves with something, and the machine exists to give the most away, not the least.
Built For The Camera
At an entertainment activation the backdrop does brand work in every post, and the machine pulls double duty as a set piece: it photographs like the show, works as a press-line backdrop, and when talent gravitates to it, you get earned on-camera time. Love Island's cast did exactly that, unprompted.
Runs Itself
Your team has a title to promote, not machines to manage. Full Service staffing runs the machines, restocks prizes, and keeps the line moving from first play to load-out, the way we ran it for Love Island.
Two Machines, Full Days, Cast on Camera
NBC's Love Island Season 8 fan event in New York City ran two claw machines side by side, double the play and double the line, so traffic surges never bottlenecked. Custom back panels put the season's branding behind every grab. Our team staffed the machines every day: running plays, restocking prizes, handling delivery, setup, and load-out, so the production team never touched the equipment.
A cast member walked the activation with a mic and camera crew on day two, and cast member Beatrice appeared at the machines on the final day. The floor stayed busy from open to close, through the final morning.

Concepts we would build with you, sized to your title and your event. These are ideas, never past-event claims.
The Golden Capsule
One capsule in the load holds the event's biggest get: premiere tickets, a meet-and-greet, a signed piece. The whole line watches every drop all night.
The Unbuyable Drop
A merch run that exists only inside the machine, sized to the event, so winning it is the only way to own it and every win is a post.
The Cast Shift
Talent takes over the machine for an hour, handing wins through the prize door. Built-in content beat, zero stage time required.
The Countdown Load
The prize mix evolves across a multi-day event: day one teaser merch, finale-day hero items, giving fans a reason to come back every day, the way multi-day flat-rate pricing already lets them.
How It Works on a Production Timeline
Each machine needs a 5 by 6 foot footprint and one standard outlet. We suggest 2 to 4 machines for fan-facing events, minimum 1: two side by side is the Love Island configuration, and more lines mean more winners per hour when traffic surges. The 31L runs without internet for street-level and pop-up placements; the Pro 41XL adds gated play by QR, form, or badge, with form and social interactions emailed as a CSV when the campaign wants numbers.
Booking runs on a 6-week standard with stated flexibility on compressed timelines: entertainment calendars move, so say so on the form. Artwork and 5 prize samples are due 3 weeks before arrival; payment is due 4 weeks before machine arrival. Key art and title branding are handled through the same wrap production process as every build, and unreleased art is handled under NDA.
Full Service staffing is the recommended tier for fan-facing events; it is how Love Island ran. Self Setup and Professional Set-Up (+$1,497) remain available for controlled, invite-only formats. Dock-to-dock shipping is included, White Glove is available, and a COI goes to the venue on request.

The Right Machine for Premieres and Fan Events.
Most fan events run the Love Island configuration, two machines side by side, with 2 to 4 machines suggested for fan-facing crowds and a minimum of 1.

Event Claw 31L
The Event Claw 31L is the pick for street-level and pop-up placements: it runs without internet, rolls through a standard commercial doorway, and needs only a 5 by 6 foot footprint and one outlet. It keeps a fan zone or pop-up experience running wherever connectivity is unreliable.

Event Claw Pro 41XL
The Event Claw Pro 41XL adds gated play by QR, form, or badge, with form and social interactions emailed as a CSV, for the fan events where the campaign wants numbers alongside the moment. It needs a 2.5 Mbps connection, so plan connectivity where it anchors the activation.

What a Fan Activation Costs
The Event Claw 31L starts at $6,497 plus shipping; the Pro 41XL starts at $12,497 plus shipping; flat 1-to-4-day rates with unlimited plays cover a multi-day fan event on one number.
We suggest 2 to 4 machines for fan-facing crowds (minimum 1); each machine adds a line and doubles the winners per hour. Staffing and White Glove add on per the service levels above; most programs spend far less than a fully staffed multi-machine build.
Premieres and Fan Events Questions, Answered.
Can a claw machine work at a movie or TV premiere?
Yes: it is a proven entertainment activation. NBC's Love Island Season 8 fan event ran two of our machines, branded for the show, staffed by our team, with cast members on camera at the machines. The format fits premieres, fan zones, finale events, and pop-up experiences.
Can the machine be branded with our title's key art?
Yes. The machine wears a custom vinyl wrap produced from your key art through our standard wrap process, with design help, templates, and guidance included, and the prize load carries your merch. Every grab happens in front of your branding, which is what the fan photos capture.
Who runs the machines during a fan event?
For fan-facing events we recommend Full Service: our team runs the machines, restocks prizes, and keeps the line moving from first play to load-out, exactly how the Love Island activation ran. Your production team never touches the equipment. Self Setup and technician options exist for controlled formats.
What prizes work best at a fan event?
Merch fans cannot buy anywhere else: exclusive drops, show or title merchandise, one hero item the whole line watches for. You supply the prizes, we plan the load together on the pre-event strategy call, and guaranteed-win play means every fan walks away with something.
